The return of the King

The knight is back, and might even shine his armour one day. It's been a while, hasn't it? Seems like the days just whizzed past. No, I've not gone down to 70 kilos. Yes, I have gotten rid of the french beard, but I've got what they call a "flavour saver". Life hasn't progressed much, or has it? Let's see.

Since I last wrote, Mugs is married, a new year's on, I've got involved in Stock market transactions, Projects have come and gone, and I've started dancing again. And tons more. So there IS a lot that's happened. Let me see if I can summarize: Mugs is married, and Delhi happened. That's about it for now.

So we went to Ze village again - in December. A loverly place that is, and on the way back, we talked a bit. Me and Mom that is. I've let her "find" a person for me, if she'll let me find someone myself too. She's going the konkani way, and I'm ok with that - but from my end, no family, no bull****. I've got to talk to her and figure it out. I just wish I didn't have to go through the rigmarole - it's terribly defeating to have to do something like this with the axe of a marriage on your head. Anyhow Mom's happy, and since then she's been able to find just one "resume" which she herself decided she didn't want to pursue. Works for me, mum, any time.

Dance class is happening again. I really like these weekend classes - bigger and better dances. And it's all "intermediate" level, which is so much nicer. And the women are a lot more interesting :) That I'll leave for another day - the going's good is all I have to say.
